New to the city. Just moved here from NYC where it was hard to find like minded conservative and even centrist folk who are not indoctrinated by far left progressive and socialist ideology. What neighborhoods in Seattle are most friendly to conservatives/centrists? And I mean Seattle proper (not including surround cities). I heard some parts of West Seattle and maybe Laurelhurst are more friendly towards other viewpoints but want to confirm.

Here’s a Reddit-ready version that keeps it straightforward: Looking for recommendations for a reliable house cleaner in Lower Queen Anne! We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment, around 975–995 sq. ft., and are looking for a one-time basic cleaning before we leave for a long trip. We keep the apartment pretty clean and clean weekly, so we’re mainly looking for someone to give everything a good professional cleaning. We’d like the kitchen surfaces, sink, stovetop, exterior of appliances, and fronts of cabinets/drawers cleaned; bathroom and bathtub cleaned and sanitized, including around/behind the toilet; surfaces, furniture, mirrors, and windowsills dusted/wiped down; and our hardwood floors vacuumed and mopped, including under the beds and other easily accessible furniture. No need to clean inside the fridge, oven, cabinets, or drawers, and no need to make the beds. We do have one dog, but we’ll be out of the apartment with him during the cleaning, and we’d love to get an idea of pricing based on the size and cleaning requested.

Ive been a bunch of places, ive driven in most of the US states, nowhere ive been is as bad as this. I cant drive down bridgeport way without having my eyes bombed by a plethora of what appear to be arc welders. Does drivers ed not cover the use of high beams in this state? Is it just a high concentration of LED projectors? Its seriously getting old.

After many years of grocery store jalapenos becoming mild and flavorless to the point of being little green bell peppers, this year's crop has been extremely spicy. WinCo, Fred Meyer, TJ's, they're all hot. I love it, don't get me wrong, but something is different. Has anyone else noticed?

The festive cross street lights on the Blanchard and another parallel street, as well as in 3rd .. is it to deter illegal activity ?. Just curious. I remember these were peak crime areas before.
