Hi all! I am 9 months pregnant and just got surprised with the news from my leasing office that there was availability to move from a one bed to a two bed apartment on site. I have a small(ish) L-Shaped couch that is free to anybody who might be interested. Overall in clean used condition (pets in home). I have a truck and am willing to help with transport within reason but at minimum I really need help getting it removed from a second floor apartment. Every day it sits is another day of rent for two separate apartments and it’s beginning to add up however help hasn’t been easy to come by. If there is anybody who might be available even just to help me get it removed from the building I would so greatly appreciate it. My landlord mentioned an MTM fee in a renewal notice but did not state the amount. They only disclosed the actual fee amount about two weeks before it was supposed to take effect. Is mentioning the existence of an MTM fee enough, or must the landlord disclose the exact amount under Seattle’s 180-day notice rule?

I’m a fellow surfer living in the PNW, and Westport is my favorite surf spot in WA. Once I heard about the proposed plan to turn our state park into a private golf course, I knew I wanted to do something about it. Not only is it the closest break to Seattle, it’s also a crucial wetland for migratory birds.
