Please be honest. Thinking of moving to the area for a bit temporarily while we look for different places in Washington to live. Thinking we will be there 6 months to a year. Please be honest with the safety! It’s in the Lincoln area

Just fyi theres some kind of collision near Columbia City station, northbound in case you're wondering why your train hasn't shown up. No announcement until 15 minutes after. Idk what people are doing to have collisions so often.
Hi, we noticed this dog wandering around without human. This is at Old Redmond Road and 116th. I hope it finds its way home!

Hi 35 year old male here i just moved to the snohomish county area and don't know where the best spots are for meeting new people mainly for new friends but also to meet women that aren't smoking fetty in the street corner 😆 jk... anyways looking for advice on like a crazy popular crowded bar and what's it called and what nights are best ect. I've been exploring but find time to be the issue so I'm asking if anyone can point me to some decent social spots? Thanks in advance

Not sure if it’s too early to ask, but does anyone know of any afterparties for her concert? 👀 I know she sometimes goes to a bar after her shows, so I’m wondering if there’s anything planned for Seattle! If there isn’t an actual afterparty, I’d also love recommendations for any cool/fun bars near Climate Pledge Arena. I’m totally fine with somewhere ~20 minutes away by scooter, as long as it’s open past 11 PM!
My family may be relocating from the Houston area to the Seattle area, and I’m starting to research neighborhoods and public schools. We have a child who is currently in kindergarten, so elementary school is our immediate priority, but I’d also like to consider the middle and high school path rather than having to move again later. Our priorities are strong public schools, diverse population, good opportunities for music, arts, academics, and extracurricular activities. Reasonable access to public transportation/park-and-ride Asian groceries/restaurants nearby would be a huge plus for us! I know online school ratings don’t tell the whole story, so I’m especially interested in firsthand experiences from parents, teachers, or people who grew up in these districts. Which Seattle-area districts or individual schools would you actively recommend? Are there districts that look okay on paper but you would avoid? Conversely, are there schools or neighborhoods with mediocre online ratings that are actually great places for kids? I’m particularly interested in hearing about Shoreline, since we’ve seen some houses there that we like, but I’m open to anywhere in the greater Seattle area. Thank you!

They won't acknowledge gang shootings as "gang" shootings, but instead use euphemisms like "small groups in conflict". They renamed their gang unit to the "gun violence reductiom unit". It's like how in Harry Potter people were scared of using Voldemort's name. Why?
