Hello, I just moved here and need to find a quality hair stylist who does men's scissor cuts. I don't get fades anymore and want to find someone who is consistent and not way overpriced.

My questions kind of straight forward, do people still tip for a cup of coffee when baristas make minimum wage here? I’m a college student and work in customer service and I do not make tips, I have worked at a local popular ice cream shop where with tips I was usually making 27-30$ an hour. After that I kind of stopped tipping if it’s just for coffee or ice cream because now I just make minimum wage again with no tips
We've been a fairly lively chat group for a few months now who just talk about the aforementioned topics. The knowledge level of members ranges from those who have some experience with Linux, privacy/security tools to longtime professionals. Feel free to create an account (if you don't have one already) and message me/reply with your Matrix username so I can invite you. Unfortunately it is a fixed setting that the room is federated and people from remote servers cannot join so you would need a standard matrix.org account to join.
I would love to see the underground on a move private level if you know any way to get in without a tour would be amazing
my hair is pretty frizzy and has a wavy textured growth and thick too. I can go to seattle or anywhere tbh. i'm open to all suggestions
Hello all, I will be relocating to Bellevue/Seattle area later this year and am looking for suggestions for renting apartments My commute to work is mostly once a week (office is in Bellevue downtown), so I don't mind the drive. As much as I loved the high rise apartments in Bellevue downtown area, they are over my budget. I was hoping to spend around $1500 - $2000 on a studio or a 1b1b if it is not way too expensive or has decent offers ongoing. Looking for your suggestions on what apartments are nice and within that budget. I am open to options in Seattle as well. I don't have much of a social life, so I would prefer apartment with nicer amenities such as a lounge area, gym etc Also does anyone has any personal experience with the Canopy Apartments: 18815 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133 The reviews and amenities look good but the reviews regarding the safety are mixed. Looking forward to your suggestions! Thank you in advance!
Hi! Looking for any personal trainer recommendations in the Bellevue area. Either that can come to my home or that work out of their home/or a smaller personal gym space - as the larger gyms aren't my vibe :) TIA
Fellow seasonal workers in Seattle, what do you guys all do for the off season as far as work goes? This is my first seasonal transition as far as work goes out here and my company has unfortunately started doing their layoffs for the slow season. I don’t have a car so ski resort jobs are out of the question. Any help or recommendations would be rad! I’m open to anything accessible via the light rail or buses (within Seattle proper)
I know we talk a lot here about being a thoughtful dog owner, but it’s interesting that the city put out an official postcard about it.
Didn't know where else to ask this. My nanny mom wants me to find a nanny meet-up for her kiddo which I would love but I have no idea how or where to find one 😭 my kiddo is about 1.5yrs old so ideally kids his age or older I'd like him to be around more. If anybody knows anything and you're around View Ridge please lmk 😭
