Hello!! 🥰 Just hoping to ease my nerves a little bit! My partner and I are planning to head to the Puyallup Fair this week, and I’m a plus-size woman — about 5’7” and 275 lbs. We definitely want to ride some of the rides, but I’m a little nervous about fitting comfortably in the restraints and would love to avoid any potentially embarrassing situations. 😅 For anyone around my size (or who has experience with plus-size riders), are there any rides you’d recommend or any rides you’d suggest avoiding? I’d really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences! Thank you!! 🥰🎡

Had my hair cut at Antonio Salon while I was visiting. They gave me a $20 coupon for my next visit that I'm not able to use, and I'll mail it to anyone who would like it for free. Doesn't have an expiration date.

Kelabe Tewolde, a fellow Democrat who is a Seattle planning commissioner, defeated Santos by over three percentage points in their head-to-head match-up last month to represent south Seattle's 37th Legislative District. [...] For example, she was one of a handful of House Democrats who voted against the state's landmark 2025 law capping residential rent increases. [...] The 37th District is renter-heavy and has an above-average poverty rate. Santos has outraised Tewolde, $128,000 to $78,000, according to campaign finance filings. ~ A renter-heavy district with above-average poverty, and the rent cap vote went the other way. August suggests voters were paying attention.

Pierce Transit’s Outreach team will be at three in-person events coming up, to give community members the opportunity to learn more about the ballot measure. Chat with the experts on September 15 in Tacoma, October 3 in Puyallup or at Tacoma Community College on October 6. Can't make it in-person? Attend a virtual Zoom on 10/16 & 10/26, or visit our outreach booth at any community event.

https://homemarketview.com/?seattle-wa I was looking through the Seattle data and two ZIP codes stood out: the median sale price in 98102 was up about 6.9%, while 98109 was down about 5.1%, comparing June-August 2026 with the same three months in 2025. I built this map to make it easier to explore those differences around Seattle. You can click around the ZIP codes and see the available history for home values, sale prices, active listings and rents. It's been interesting seeing how much the picture changes from one area to another. Let me know if there's another view or comparison that would make the map more useful!

Hateee the change of Route 111. The bus was the perfect link for Renton to Seattle. Every morning for work and after work the bus was always filled with people. Now we have to take a stop at Bellevue to take the train JUST to get to Seattle? Now I got to drive into work otherwise I’ll keep being late (yes bus delays are still common) 🫩 Was this really thought out or is it just a way to force the bellevue transit on us 😬

I’m moving from Seattle to MN and I just need to move a bunch of boxes (20-25). I’m not going to move furniture. Can anyone recommend a mover or should I look for just a freight mover? I’m a senior and really can’t move it all myself. Thanks for any recommendations.
