The next phase of zoning changes planned to implement Seattle's twenty-year housing and job growth plan are on track to be delayed another year, according to a city briefing provided last week to the city's planning commission. The deadline to get that analysis updated is September 9, 2027, with a compliance hearing scheduled for later that fall. ~ The hearings board found no evidence behind the appellants' environmental claims and still sent the city back for another year of analysis, this time on "maximum possible development" instead of "maximum likely development." Thirty neighborhood centers wait while that gets written up.

I moved and need to get my plants into more appropriate homes in short order. Where could I post up on Capitol Hill and sell them (and maybe even get what they’re worth)? I feel like Cal Anderson is the easy answer, but I might get a lot of folks who wouldn’t want to pay what I’d ask for. I know this is a long shot but are there any officers from Kent PD on here ? I am visiting the area from overseas for the next week and work for a PD of the same name but in my country. Our PDs even share the same patch designs! I’d love to meet up and exchange patches and talk gear ? If anyone knows someone or you work at Kent PD drop me a PM , I’d love to sort something out 👍🏻

My doctor in Olympia (where I lived until recently) is retiring and I'm slogging my way through the healthplanfinder website trying to find a new clinic up here. I thought I'd see if anyone on here also has ambetter cascade bronze, or one of the other low-income insurances, and has any recommendations for a decent PCP. I'm not really very high maintenance (knock on wood), mainly just need Rx refills and an annual physical checkup. (edit/addendum- just as easily looking for recommendations of places to avoid, since I'm not that plugged in up here)

2 bikes stolen from a locked, shared garage in Beacon Hill apartment building sometime last week. The pink bike was found in Columbia City, a man had traded some drugs from a white man who likely originally stole both bikes. Thankfully, he was kind enough to return it without hesitation (there's still some kindness in the world...) The bike that's still missing is a dark blue Kona mountain bike with light blue lettering, black tires, a black rear rack, and small flower decoration on the handlebar stem (see pics). Note, we've left pics of the bike and contact around south Seattle unhoused villages/camps.

Fully disabled coast guard veteran looking for work as a welder. I do have my medical card for cannabis (for service connected disability) that is only used for outside work/ am never impaired on the job. Most of my back is with MiG, Fcaw, stick, and some Tig. I’m looking for welding or fabrication jobs around Seattle, Everett, Lynnwood, Tacoma, or nearby areas where off-duty cannabis use isn’t an automatic disqualifier. I’m mainly interested in private-sector fabrication, structural welding, heavy equipment, and manufacturing. I’m trying to avoid federal-contract and DOT-regulated jobs if they require THC testing. Looking for something paying around 30$ or more. Any local welders/ tradesmen that know of anywhere with reasonable policies?
