Square is fine if you need something specific. Crossroads is where I end up when I just want to wander, get a snack, and not feel like I’m in a hotel lobby. Is that just me getting old, or has the Square gotten weirdly quiet on weekdays?

NE 8th to Factoria should not require a podcast. I know the 405 is bad, everyone knows the 405 is bad, but it feels like it got meaner this fall. Do Eastside people actually have a secret surface-street route, or is the move just leaving 20 minutes before you think you need to?
I (30F) am a relationship therapist in Seattle (new account so I don't dox myself on my regular one). I'm feeling really impacted by the political polarization happening in our country right now, and I know many others are as well. I had an idea for a podcast where I use my relationship therapy skills to facilitate conversations between friends/family members who have opposing political views. The hope is that listeners will be able to see themselves in the dialogue and find greater understanding, connection, and compassion with themselves and others. Obviously, I hope the participants gain greater understanding and connection with each other as well. This idea has already been signed off on by a local lawyer (who is also a therapist). At this point, the only thing that is stopping me from airing an episode is that I need participants. If you are... In the Seattle area (this requires meeting in person for recording) Comfortable being vulnerable in a recording that others will see (plan for audio and Youtube/video format to both be used) Have a counterpart (friend, family member, significant other) who is also willing to participate ...then please dm me and let me know. Participating in the podcast would not be considered relationship therapy. As such, you would not pay to participate (nor would you receive financial compensation). While you wouldn't be paid to participate, I hope participants still are able to experience a conversation of greater understanding with their loved one and a feeling of satisfaction in (hopefully) helping the people who view the episodes. I'm aware this might be considered self-promotion, but I'm going to try to post it anyway because 1) I'm not trying to make money off of this and 2) I don't know where else to post it.
Hi everyone. I just moved to Seattle and I do metalworking as part of my art practice. I was wondering if anyone knew of any metal shops/yards where I could get scrap/salvage/shorts of metal sheet pipe or tube mainly? Also if anyone knows of any workshops I can access that would be awesome but not necessary. Thanks
I’m currently a MedSurg nurse outside of Tacoma with more or less 6 yrs experience. I’m looking into moving up to the ICU. I have Neuro MedSurg experience and have always wanted to do Neuro Trauma ICU but also open to other ICUs. Do you have any suggestions? How is the work environment, Work load, Pay, etc?

Is it just me, or are there photo enforcement cameras popping up all over Bellevue lately? I checked my mailbox yesterday and found 12 notices that I initially thought were speeding tickets. Almost had a heart attack lol. Then I actually read them and realized they were just warnings, not actual tickets. Thank God, because 12 tickets would’ve been insane 😂 I’m not a crazy driver or anything, and most of the notices were for going like 5–7 mph over the speed limit. Does anyone know what’s going on? Are they just testing these cameras and sending warnings for now before they start issuing real tickets? Or did Bellevue recently install a bunch of new cameras? Anyone else getting these warnings? Because 12 in one mailbox visit is wild lol.
Perfectly reasonable posts and questions are regularly taken down. Thoughts? U can ban me, but I be back🖕Can someone start a Reddit Seattle community that values free speech within reasonable limits?
Im just a gorlll that needs brake pads replaced asap - would love to not get ripped off - any recommendations of good honest / time efficient places you had good experiences at would be so appreciated newer to area !!!!
New to the area and exploring schools. I have heard decent things about the Bellevue school district but highland middle school seems to have mixed feedback (and a low great schools rating). Would love first hand perspectives on that school!
