Post was removed by mods of /Tacoma for some reason... Hi everyone. If you were unable to attend last week's inaugural get-together, you can still come to tomorrow's meeting at 6:30! Same location (the Snug at Doyle's). We will be discussing the book's introduction and the general method of analysis to be used on the body of the text. This is still a great time for anyone unfamiliar with this book to hop in without having missed anything substantive. Come join a curious and good-looking group of people on an exegetical journey through an Ozymandian work of economic and philosophical literature!

Me: left my phone on my car roof in the parking lot at Gene Coulon around Sunday lunchtime and drove away. You: grabbed the phone, hopped in your car and chased me down all the way to The Landing to get it back to me. Dude, if everyone in the world had your willingness to step up and help a stranger, we'd be in a much better place. Huge props, thank you so much, if you see this, DM me and I'd love to buy you a beer or a coffee and shake your hand to say thanks.

Hello, I’ll be in Woodinville for a wedding over the weekend and I’d love some recommendations. I’ve never been to the area and will be with my husband. We are artists in our early 30s. Love a divey vibe but also interested in any midrange upscale places. Restaurants, bars/taverns, karaoke, day spas, cool vintage shops, nature, etc. I also heard there’s good Ethiopian food in the area. We will have a rental car and definitely plan to have a day in Seattle so recommendations for Woodinville area and Seattle proper are welcome ❤️ I appreciate any guidance.

Hi all! My fiancée and I are moving to Bellevue soon and have narrowed it down to a few buildings. We care most about a safe and quiet area, groceries within walking distance, solid package handling, and management that doesn't surprise you with fees. Budget is at most $3600 for either a 1 bed with a bigger living room or a 2 bed with 1 or 2 baths. A walk in shower is a nice to have, not a must. Here's what we've found so far. Would love to hear from anyone who has actually lived in these since the experience might differ a lot: • Park Bellevue (NW Bellevue). Pros are the quiet residential area, big renovated units, walk in showers in some units, and mostly positive reviews. Cons are the 1985 walk up building (some mentioning about mold), packages held at the office, and a few complaints about renewal increases. • TEN20 (downtown). Pros are the really nice layouts with high ceilings, a stand alone shower, a 24 hour front desk with package lockers, and flexible lease terms. Cons are mixed reviews on UDR's billing and fees, recent elevator outages, and leasing being run out of Ashton across the street. • Arras (Spring District). Pros are being right next to the light rail, strong reviews on management and maintenance, and the lowest price of the four. Cons are Greystar, tub and shower combos only, and no rent cap since it's a newer building. • AMLI Spring District. Pros are the 2020 LEED Gold building, the best Google rating of the bunch, and a great location and staff. Cons are some complaints about thin walls and noise, and the 2 beds get pricey. How are the noise, the neighbors, and the management in real life? Any surprise fees at move in or move out? And are there other buildings in safe, walkable parts of Bellevue we should be looking at in this range? Thank you!

Early 2000’s they were an opening band i saw once and got their CD-over the years it got played a lot, it aged and got scratched to where it’s unplayable now. I was digging through some moving boxes and found them on my old iPod! I was so excited I hadn’t heard them in so long. They have one single song on Spotify and tidal called “hear you sing” I’m trying to track down more of their music or even that CD I had years ago. I can’t find any info on the band but I thought they were from the Tacoma area. Im hoping someone else knows about this band or knows someone who was in it. I’d love to get access to that music again.
