My parents are coming to visit this week and I have almost run out of ideas of things to do with them So I am looking for suggestions of things to do with them while they are here. This is there 4th time visiting so we have done most of the touristy things (Seattle center, pike tour, Snoqualmie, museum of flight, spheres, Bainbridge andWhidby islands, Woodland park zoo, mt Rainer, Amtrak to Portland). As the title says my parents are in there 60 but can get around ok except for excessive stairs also my dad has CBD (similar limitations to Parkinson’s and types of Dementia). For reference their favorite thing to do when they visit is walk around Seward park or Alki beach so we will probably be doing one of those that daily. They also loved gold creek pond so if anyone has recommendations for hikes like that while it’s closed. We are located in south Seattle and do have a car so can travel a bit. I was also thinking about a mushroom Foraging class for something to do, if anyone has done that would love thoughts.

I’m interested in playing guitar and/or drums. I’m obsessed with music and have always wanted to learn. I need a teacher to help me pick the right instrument for me and then teach me how to play it. Thank you!
I’m looking for a photographer to take photos of my family and I for my son’s first birthday. We will be doing different activities in Belleuve. So someone in Belleuve would be ideal or someone willing to come to Belleuve. We are open to doing outside shots or inside a studio. Thanks!
I feel like I missed something in the news, which is strange because it feels like you can't get away from the news. I work in retail and I've noticed so many people seem extremely agitated and one straw away from breaking the camel's back angry. I live in the Olympia area and have noticed people driving more aggressively than usual, I've had a few people tailgate me through multiple traffic light intersections and I can't explain what I could have done to end up on the received end of their wrath. I'm an extremely careful driver, I triple check before changing lanes, never drive distracted or under the influence, always use my turn signals, never participate or instigate road rage. I'm aware that the world feels like everything is on fire right now and everybody is handling different types of stress in different ways, but something seems more off than usual.
If you are going up to Maple Loop Pass for the Larch trees, yesterday there were a total of 2.3 miles of cars parked on the road. All of the hikes were as busy as possible. Cuttthroat lake was parked out to the road. If you can get people turned 90 degrees on the deep parking areas, you'll save a lot of space.
Does anyone know of someone in need of three large boxes of cat food? All are essentially full, though two were opened for sampling. The turkey ones are a bit past their best by date but should be perfectly fine, and I‘d hate to just throw them out when I know there are hungry kitties out there :( Please let me know if any leads! I’m happy to drop them off, too.

Hello! I thrifted a dress for an upcoming wedding that just needs the bust taken in a bit. Any recommendations for tailors between Wallingford and Ballard? Should be a fairly straighforward job; I'm just not equipped nor talented enough do to it myself 😅
Hi all! I’m going to be moving to Seattle next year and I’ve been trying to figure out what area would fit my situation best. Ideally, I’d like to live somewhere that’s (relatively) quiet, but as a 20-something year old I’d also like to be within reasonable reach of the major nightlife areas too if it’s possible (i.e. Capitol Hill, downtown). However, I’ll also need to commute down to the Georgetown area which I suspect might limit my options. From what I’ve read Lower Queen Anne seems like a decent-ish compromise? Based on what I’ve seen periodically checking Google Maps, the commute I’d be doing from LQA would basically be straight down SR99 and travel time hovers around 15 to 20 minutes, but this seems almost too good to be true and I’m suspicious that it might not be an accurate number. Again, no idea if this is accurate or not, but I-5 seems like it gets even more congested than SR99 during rush hour, which makes me a bit wary of living in Capitol Hill as far as commuting is concerned. As far as noise goes, it also seems like Capitol Hill would be a bit rowdier given the nightlife, although LQA also has the arena which I assume I wouldn’t want to live too close to either. I know I’ll probably end up having to compromise somewhere, but I’m curious what people who are more familiar with the area think. Would living in somewhere like LQA/Capitol Hill and commuting to Georgetown be workable, or would I be better off just saving myself the sanity and looking into living somewhere that would cut down on my commute like Beacon Hill?
21 queer dude. I live in western washington, just not in Seattle because rent's expensive, so I don't get to go as often as I like, and have to plan when and what I'm doing to actually make the journey over there worth it. There's not really that much in my area, and I'm not really interested in hookups, so grindr isn't rlly an option. I just want to try and meet other queer men my age, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone know anywhere? I've tried looking but I'm new to event hunting and not very good at it Events, clubs, hobby groups, meetups, anything really. I just wanna know what's out there.
