My husband was let go from his job today. He is the sole provider for our family. We have never dealt with this so not sure how to move forward. The reason for his termination was due to performance but no specifics were given. He has been given no performance reviews or has had any reason to believe his job was in jeopardy. We just had our third child so obviously this is an already stressful time. He has been told he can resign and receive two weeks pay or he can be terminated as of today. Does anyone have any insight on the best way to move forward? We are concerned that if he resigns, we will not be able to receive unemployment benefits. However, if he’s been given an ultimatum I am not sure how this changes things. Any help, insight, or legal advice would be so appreciated.

We are having our wedding in Mt. Rainier and plan to explore the city for a few days after a week in the park. This will be a mix of post wedding celebration and exploring a new city and wanted to see which hotel might be best. Lotte seems modern, but we fear the area immediately around the hotel may lack bars and other interesting things to do late night, pro is they offer a house car/lexus cars for us to drive and breakfast for 2 each day. 4 seasons is the most expensive, no house car, but might be the special ending to our wedding. Fairmont is historic, beautiful lobby, fair price, and rooms seem comfortable. Does anyone have a suggestion on which may be best? We’re looking for a hotel that adds that extra touch to end our wedding, but is in a nice location to let us eat/drink late night while checking out the city during the day. Edit: my concern is that the 4 seasons for our dates is around $600 more than both hotels and not 100% certain it’s worth the extra cost.

I visited Seattle for a week-long vacation last September/early October and had a great time in the city and surrounding area. The ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, Bloedel Nature Reserve, and daily trips to Pike Place Market were a few highlights of the trip. Would love to return at some point

I was stupid enough to buy a pc in Seattle with cash. I was hoping to do something nice for my girlfriend and get her a computer in hopes it would help her out with her career goals but that didn't go as planned. I met up with this guy in mercer island so i assumed it was a safe enough location and there were lots of cameras so i wasn't too worried, but my dumbass didn't even check the ram and i was going to as well but the pc case was horrendous( which should of been a red flag) and i couldnt pull out the glass panel to check. Anyways the ram was fake, no nvme, no cpu, and the gpu was gutted from the inside. Just wanted to post this so others will NEVER fall for a scam like this or at least test before you buy Description of the person: 5'10 ish lightskin, short hair like waves or something ( im not familar with haircut names) drives a grey lexus said he went to seattle U as a business major but idk if that's true or not

I work from home and then study in the evenings, so I've been feeling trapped in the same space all day. Looking for some cozy spots on the Eastside that are open until around 8pm and don't mind someone hanging out for a few hours. Happy to buying drinks or food while I'm there. Please give me some recs!!

Hopefully the mods allow this Anthony’s post. The last 2 times we have visited Anthony’s, I’ve ordered the clam chowder. It’s seems different, less creamy white and much thicker. Has anyone else observed this? It’s still good clam chowder, but is definitely different imo. Thanks

Did anyone who drives on Avondale see that the have cones in the middle margin .. I reallly hope they don’t cut anymore trees on Avondale …like they did for that hideous eye sore retirement home .. specially when all the trees are changing colors it be really devastating to have them cut
