Hi there, Anyone dealing with PMDD have a recommendation for either a obgyn or psychiatrist that has been helpful? I keep running into less-than-helpful providers. Thanks so much for any leads!

Hi AskSeattle! My husband and I (30M/30F) will be moving from Central Florida to Seattle for work. My husband will be working in the Adobe office and we were wondering where we should live if we value things like diverse food, asian marts like H Mart, coffee shops, walkability, farmers markets, and vintage shops during our non-working hours. I was thinking Ballard checks all these boxes but sounds pretty far from the rest of the iconic food and bar scene in Seattle. It sounds like Cap Hill is all of these things plus the benefit of public transit to other parts of Seattle, but I’m worried for my husband if he needs to commute to the Fremont office 3x a week from there. Is it a crazy commute from Cap Hill to Fremont? We’re also looking into housing too (trying to keep to EDIT: for those that were suggesting Fremont itself, that was a huge one as well but I read previous posts here about being a bit of a drive away from basic things like pharmacies, if that’s not the case then I will definitely put Fremont at the top of my list!

Looking for a date night spot that is romantic, a little moody and slightly bustling. I like to sit at bar seating or similar so we’re next to each other so ideally a spot that takes reservations at the bar. Open to cuisine but ideally looking at downtown and north (SLU, Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard)

Does anybody know of a good coffee shop (other than Anthem) in Puyallup to hang out and read a book or do some work in? Anthem is too expensive now, and I'd rather support a local business than go to Starbucks. My usual coffee place is the Enchanted Espresso stand on Meridian, but I miss having a coffee shop I can spend some time in that has good vibes and doesn't play their music at ear-splitting volume. Any suggestions? I'm looking mostly for places north of Longston Place, I don't venture much further than that on South Hill.

Hello, I got the voter's pamphlet and I am wondering about the parental rights measure. What are the community’s opinions on this? If this is alright to post and talk about on this subreddit. I haven't fully formed an opinion yet- so I'd like to hear different perspectives as I don't really understand the context of this measure. EDIT: I am reading all of your comments and I find myself agreeing on voting "NO".

If your weekend travels involve I-405, we’ve got two areas you’ll want to know about: lane reductions in Tukwila that could affect trips to SEA Airport and an interchange closure in Kirkland. TUKWILA: SOUTHBOUND I-405 LANE REDUCTIONS AND HOV RAMP CLOSURE Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 in Tukwila will close from 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. The southbound I-405 HOV off-ramp to northbound I-5 will also close. Crews will be paving the roadway as part of the I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project. If you're heading to SEA Airport during this window, this is NOT the weekend to cut it close. Expect congestion on southbound I-405 and give yourself extra time to get to the airport. KIRKLAND: NE 85TH STREET INTERCHANGE CLOSURE Farther north, the northbound and southbound I-405 on- and off-ramps at NE 85th Street (Exit 18) will close from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5. NE 85th Street will also close between Sixth Street and 120th Avenue NE. Crews will use the closure to pave NE 85th Street as part of the I-405/NE 85th Street Interchange and Inline BRT Station Project. Signed detours will be in place. THE WEEKEND TAKEAWAY Whether you're catching a flight, traveling through Kirkland or just using I-405 for your usual weekend plans, check your route before you leave, use our app and real-time travel map and give yourself extra time.

Hello Hello! I've been planning on going in to Modern Design Sofas for a while now, but wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with them that they'd be willing to share, as well as what was paid for your sofa (trying to plan my potential budget). I'm in the market for a new family sectional, and I'm trying to make a good long term investment.
