Hello, I’ve ran into an unfortunate issue. My vehicle is not working and I need to get my dog’s food delivery that is in Snohomish at the vet office. Task Rabbit all of a sudden no longer services my area. Does anyone know of other apps or local delivery services where I can have someone pick up the dog food and deliver to my home?

Yes I know PSLs are basic but I don’t want none of that Starbucks crap. Where is your go-to spot for a pumpkin spice latte or other good fall coffees? 🙏 🎃
I run a tiny freelance PT practice out of a rented space and I've been slowly working through forming an LLC because apparently that's what responsible adults do when they want to protect their assets and also complicate their tax situation. The formation fee itself was fine, but now I'm drowning in annual renewal notices and registered agent costs and wondering if I picked the wrong structure or if everyone just accepts that doing business in Washington involves a certain amount of administrative bleeding. My CPA is helpful but she talks fast and bills by the hour, so I try not to spiral out loud during appointments. I save that for later, on my own time. The business license renewal alone was more than I expected and I'm genuinely curious what other small business owners in the area are paying just to exist legally each year. I know the numbers vary wildly depending on what you do and where, but I'm trying to figure out if I'm in the right ballpark or if there's something obvious I missed. Not looking for legal advice, just trying to calibrate my expectations against reality instead of the Washington State website, which makes everything sound straightforward until you're actually doing it.
My twins are turning 18 this month, and are enjoying being extra silly about it. There’s a lot of grunting, chest thumping, and trying to keep a straight face while drinking black coffee. My husband and I would like to take them out to dinner to a place that leans into this! Think like… bearded lumberjacks eating steaks, throwing axes, lifting big rocks, and doing shots of hot sauce to impress girls. Does anyone have a recommendations? Seattle or the Eastside work well for us. Thanks!
Hi, looking for a local place to get a flower bouquet pressed and preserved into a frame, any recommendations?
Looking for suggestions on the best chicken parm sandwich or regular chicken parm yall have had in the Seattle area. I heard Friends of Carmela got a mean chicken parm sandwich but wonder if there are any others.
This past Monday, the Washington State Auditor released its 2025 Financial and Federal audit of Snohomish County and identified two significant deficiencies and a material weakness in the County’s internal controls over federal program dollars and accountability. A significant deficiency is not simply a minor paperwork issue; it is an internal-control problem the Auditor considers important enough to require the attention of those responsible for governance. More seriously, the Auditor identified a material weakness involving payroll documentation for a federal program, finding that the County could not demonstrate that certain payroll costs charged to the program were properly supported. The Auditor ultimately issued a qualified opinion because of the significance of these issues. While these findings are related to the County's management of federal dollars, they should prompt some basic questions about accountability and oversight by Snohomish County overall. Asking taxpayers to continually foot the bill for budget shortfalls or financial oversights is inappropriate without first demonstrating that existing public dollars are being managed responsibly. I urge the County Council to reject additional tax increases until there is greater transparency, accountability, and demonstrated fiscal responsibility in how taxpayer money is being spent.
My gosh, what a snail's pace! Finish it already. That is all.
Voting on the second offers came to an end at noon Thursday, with 67.62% of the professional unit and 53.48% of the technical unit voting to approve the four-year contracts, according to the Society of Professional Engineering Employees website. [...] The contracts will raise the professional unit's average base salary from $152,000 to $208,000 and the technical unit's base salary from $119,000 to $163,000. Compared to the initial offer, this is an increase of $11,000 and $8,000, respectively. Of the professional unit, 64.3% voted against the initial proposed contract. Of the technical unit, 71.9% voted no. Ninety-two percent of eligible union members voted in August, with 87.8% of the professional unit and 89.7% of the technical unit voting in favor of the strike authorization. ~ The negotiating team unanimously endorsed the first offer and the membership voted it down anyway, then authorized a strike with 88% behind it. Three weeks later the company came back with $11,000 more on the average base salary. Nobody at the bargaining table found that money. The roughly 17,000 people who refused to sign did, and about half of them work in Everett.
I'm looking for a vet for my daughter and her older cat (possible kidney issues). Funds are tight and I wanted to get feedback on places in or near Puyallup. I googled some (below) but don't always trust results. If possible can you provide the cost for an office visit and maybe the cost for a test like a urinalysis? If you've ever gone through this issue with your cat, which is quite common when they get older, I'd appreciate your feedback! PetCare Clinic — 4621 S Meridian Ste.
