Hello! I'm trying to refine my pool abilities, and it seems the cheapest pool hall (per hour) is Garage in Capitol Hill. It is 10 dollars per hour before 7 M-Thurs, 14 dollars after 7, and 18 on the weekends. Totally cool with splitting the costs with someone, or trading turns paying. Is anyone interested in meeting up and playing at Garage? Or any people that already frequent it want to arrange to play? Thanks in advance!

Hi! does anyone have Indian restaurant recommendations that are accessible from the link? (i.e., within a 15 minute walk from a station)? Open to all kinds of cuisines but preferably something fairly casual. I like chaat house but looking to try something different.

Here's my list of the best date night deals: Dinner for two Nue (Capitol Hill) — $35 for two : big pile of fried wings (Chengdu spicy or Hungarian paprikash) + 4 Cass lagers or a bottle of wine. Sun & Mon, 5–9pm. Artusi (Capitol Hill) — $45 : two pastas + a bottle of wine. Sun & Mon, 5–10pm. Happy hour discounts stack on top if you go early. Darkalino's (Pioneer Square) — $50 : two pastas + a bottle of wine. Wednesdays, 11am–8pm, so it works for a long lunch too. Bar Cotto (Capitol Hill) — $70 : salad, any pizza, any pasta + a bottle of house wine (or two Aperol spritzes). Daily, 5–10pm. Easily enough food for two. Cheap things to do Majestic Bay Theatres (Ballard) — $6 movies , every showing, every Tuesday. Buy online, it sells out. First Thursday museums — free entry at SAM, MOHAI, the Nordic Museum, Volunteer Park Conservatory and others on the first Thursday of each month. McCarthy & Schiering (Ravenna) — free wine tastings Saturdays, 11am–5pm. No reservation needed, just show up. Drinks Quinn's Pub (Capitol Hill) — $3–4 beers, $5 wells the entire time they're open (Wed–Sun, 5pm—Close). Any good ones I'm missing? I'll add them to the list. (Disclosure: I run SeattleBarDeals , a local deals site I posted about last year . It's a free site where people share and find deals in the city. The full date list with a map is there if you want it.)

So tired of drives who are inattentive, selfish, or just not driving, at the very least, the speed limit. And what's with the braking when there is nobody in front of you, when you're already driving under the speed limit? Get off your phones and pay attention. You're managing a piece of equipment going at least 60mph, along with others doing the same. You could give us the rest of us basic courtesy and pay attention.

I used to get my eyebrows waxed at the Ulta Beauty Benefit Brow Bar in Factoria, and my stylist was Celena. At some point, I noticed she was no longer there, so I called and found out that she had left. Does anyone know where she’s working now or where I might be able to get her services? I’d really love to see her again! If anyone has recommendations for a good eyebrow-waxing stylist around Bellevue or Factoria, I’d appreciate those too!

i just moved to seattle this year from arkansas. one of the biggest reasons was so that i could not drive as it gives me a lot of anxiety and stress. i live in lake city and as soon as i knew i’d be living here, i’ve been eagerly awaiting the pinehurst station opening. i googled everyday waiting to see. and the day it was announced i knew i had to be there to get my own little boop. it was a 30 minute line but i enjoyed it so i could see the station and be around my neighbors. (also love they made the station so blue, coz its my fav color!!!💙) and the orca people were so sweet to everyone. as soon as she was mine, i took her on a trip to downtown for a lil dindin :3 and we watched the sun set at the waterfront. one of the best days ive had since moving here. im so happy to have my own boop. it feels like a dream come true 💙🫍🚊

Anybody remember the lunch buffet at Maharajah? Was like $11.99. Killed by Covid. How about that buffet at Taste of Mumbai when it opened? It was great, why did it end? Well, the times I went it was empty. My guess is poor marketing/management/new business. Third time may be the charm at the 4th or 5th or whatever Indian spot on the island, Taste and Best, Fri-Sunday, $20 bucks and change. I've had takeout twice from this place and was satisfied. Note I don't have financial interest in this place, they have very good curry and would for this to be permanent. I think making it weekends only is a smart move.

Does anyone know where to get free tote bags around Seattle? I love collecting reusable tote bags, especially ones from local businesses, organizations, events, museums, universities, etc. I know they sometimes give them away at street fairs, community events, grand openings, volunteer events, conferences, farmers markets, and other pop-ups. Has anyone gotten any good free totes recently, or know of upcoming events/places around Seattle that usually give them out? Not looking to buy them, the fun part is finding the free giveaway ones. Thanks!
