Hello! We are moving to Lynwood Washington with our 2 young kids and our cats! I’m really nervous, and have never really been outside of Maine to be honest. Maine is a sheltered state! My husband is a welder , and there is a lot of welding opportunities that are high paying in Washington so hence the move. Anything I should know about Lynwood? Like the norms and stuff like that?

Saw some posts about people not liking the bar seats but one user said the 100s got better with an incline? I have seats to a show in a month or so in 102 bar, closer to the left side of the bar section and im worried that I bought tickets in a panic a few months back. Are they decent ? I dont mind standing at all i just worry about the people in front of the section blocking my view. First time at the venue!
Hi. For the last summer, I was in Kirkland and have had pretty good experience with finding commute. I almso never had to take a bus, and always got someone from Microsoft/Amazon to commute with. And even better, Microsoft pays for that. For the next summer, I was looking into Woodinville as an option. Wanted to understand if I should expect to find fellow scoop riders from Woodinville.

I went to Bellevue college almost 15 years ago and it was pretty common on the first day for teachers to play these awkward “let’s get to know everyone” games. Basically some variation of one by one introduce yourself and tell us a fun fact. I’m shy and speaking to a crowd of strangers gives me anxiety so I hated the entire first week of every quarter. (It gets better as I get familiar to the people and setting over time and I genuinely do enjoy learning.) Is this still a thing? I have quite a bit of free time these days and was floating around the idea of taking some classes for fun. Thanks yall
I miss it : ( All the places online/in Spain that make it (like https://www.alvalle.com/es/producto/ajoblanco ) don't seem to ship to the US. I went to ParisMadrid and they were good in general, and had gazpacho but no ajo blanco, so my search continues. Does anyone know where I can buy some in person, or online to have it delivered to me here?
Hi! I’m a 26F from Sweden, travelling solo and visiting Seattle Oct 8–10. I’m considering spending my one full day (Oct 9) at Mount Rainier. I won’t have a car, so I’m trying to decide between renting one for the day or joining a guided group tour from Seattle. I’d love the freedom to explore and hike on my own, but I’m not used to driving in the US or to the area, especially with potentially unpredictable October weather. If I go alone, is it fairly easy to navigate the park? Are the main hiking trails well marked, or is getting lost something I should actually worry about as a solo visitor? Would you recommend renting a car or just going with a group tour? 😊

Had to go to the ER for rapid onset of new symptoms related to back injury. Was sat next to a woman struggling with recovery, making the decision to get help. I brought up how I have had my own struggles with addiction, that she was doing a good thing for herself, and wished her well. I shook her hand as I left with my nurse and she got up and gave me a hug. In recovery, it is nice to establish relationships with other recovering addicts. I don’t know many folks up here. We can’t do recovery all on our own — at least most of us. If you see this and would like a friend, now or when you feel a bit more sure of yourself, or even just to let me know a year from now that things are better for you, I’d really like that. Wishing you the best
Hello! I am a single mom in my low thirties, and I am looking for help with how to meet people in person. I'm not very outdoorsy or athletic, but I've been to a few meetups, joined a choir and a book club, and have been trying to get out there more. Online dating apps can be pretty demoralizing. I am liberal and do enjoy nerdier guys, though I don't have many nerdy interests myself. Any idea where single women can go or ideas of groups to join to meet new friends and potential partners, especially those in their 30s with kids or wanting kids? Thanks for any help you can provide!
