Saw probably 10 police vehicles with full flights flashing rushing down 8th St crossing the 405. Around 4:45-5pm yesterday afternoon. It looked like something pretty big to warrant such a large police response. Anyone know what happened?

Yesterday I tried asking municipal services at the Redmond website to remove an old post that was just ugly. Walked by today and it was gone. I literally did the rubbing-my-eyes thing to make sure I was seeing right and not confusing a different post 😄 Respect where respect's due!

We are new to the area and my son wants to go to the Museum of Illusions for his 12th birthday. Can anyone recommend any other things to do/see and restaurants in that area? It will be our first time in the city and we will likely ride the ferry over from Bremerton.

There are 3 road closed signs. There is one to the right of me blocking the lane to go straight and I am in the left turn lane. It took me awhile to get to the front of the turn lane because it was full of cars going straight, between the road closed signs in front of me. What is going on with this? Why are we blocking the road if it's not being worked on and why are cars still allowed to go through? I even watched a school bus drive through. Am I missing something?

I got this notice of infraction for inadvertently parking in a commercial load zone area. I was visiting from another state. I am trying to pay it online ($78), but the website Seattle.gov/courts listed on the ticket can only find Citations, Cases or Time Pay Accounts. This "notice of infraction" doesn't have any number on the top right as the website indicates. The only number listed is SMC: xx.xx.xxx. I've tried using that number to pay but it's not recognized. Any advise?
