I am on the light rail at SeaTac, 8:34 on Sunday Sept 20. It is not leaving… they are not saying why… just saying it will leave “soon”. (It’s been at least 10 mins now.) Any got info about what is causing the delay?

Does anyone know what the estimated duration is for these lane closures on coal creek every day? I know it’s related the sewage upgrade. It’s getting pretty annoying especially when both the 405 is closed and the detour (coal creek) is reduced. Website says it’s currently tunneling and estimated to end in “early 2027” but the overall project I believe is supposed to to be multiple years! https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dnrp/waste-services/wastewater-treatment/capital-projects/coal-creek

what’s parking at the new stations south of the airport like on weekends and weekdays? When it ended at Angle Lake, I would try to park there for trips into the city and it was always full and I would end up driving anyways. has it gotten better with more options?

There are way too many narcissist software engineers here who brag about their role. It’s like there’s this cookie-cutter stereotyped hive-mind of bros in their mid 20s. Example: “Hi, I’m Chad. I just moved here. I’m a SWE. I live in SLU. AI is just a tool. I code with Claude. I like to hike. What’s your role?” (Accompanied by a soulless condescending, corporate gaze). Now I have friends in tech, love tech, play with tech etc. but how is SWE a flex anymore? These keyboard alphas are just a layoff waiting to happen. If your entire workday is Claude, Teams, and lunch, then maybe start thinking about adapting or at least treat people in other skilled occupations with a little respect. Call me a jerk, but the universe has an incredible sense of irony. Enjoy the singularity MFs.
