With all due respect ; we barely have enough places to park without people parking like shitheads . Because why tf is your Subaru taking up 2 spots ?
Dose anyone know where I can buy some tamales in the area?
Hi Seattle! I moved here recently and am facing a parking issue, I would like some advice about. My neighbors garage faces mine and the space between them is fairly narrow. Since my place was empty for awhile, I’m guessing, they have gotten into the habit of parking perpendicular to their garage in a manner that I can’t get out when I’m parked in my garage. I’ve gone to their door 3 times now to ask them to move. They have not gotten the hint that they can’t park this way anymore. I do not want to be in a situation that if I have to leave in a hurry and can’t get out. In Seattle, what are my options? Can I call a tow truck directly? The car isn’t on a public road.
I’ve been all over Washington. Issaquah is still my favorite place to live. I’ve been to a lot of places around Washington at this point. Seattle, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Redmond, Tacoma, Olympia, Port Angeles, Bainbridge Island, Everett, Kent, Puyallup, Enumclaw, Snoqualmie, Lacey, Marysville, Maple Valley, DuPont and a bunch of other places I’m probably forgetting. Obviously I haven’t seen the entire state. I haven’t really explored anything east of North Bend yet, so I know I’m missing a lot. But out of everywhere I’ve been, if I could only choose one place to live, it would be Issaquah. I actually hate saying this because the last thing Issaquah needs is more people moving there lol. But seriously, I love that place. You have mountains and trees everywhere, good restaurants, plenty to do outside, nice people and it just feels like a great place to raise a family. It’s peaceful, but not boring. You’re also close to Bellevue and Seattle without having to actually live in either one. Mercer Island would probably be my second choice. I love how quiet and laid-back it is. It’s clean, the neighborhoods are nice and I really like the overall feel of the community. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s not bad either, and you’re right between Seattle and Bellevue. But Issaquah is still number one for me. Nothing else I’ve visited in Washington has really come close. What about you guys? If money wasn’t a factor and you could live anywhere in Washington, where would you live? And for the people who have spent more time east of North Bend, am I missing somewhere that might change my mind?
I need a good (preferably small/locally-owned) auto mechanic in the Kent/Renton area. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks very much in advance!
I go to the gym 3 times per week. Usually it is in the afternoon after 3pm. I'm not a beginner.
Hey hey. Just saw them perform in Vancouver, BC last night for the first show of their tour. It was absolutely incredible! They blew the frickin’ roof off! My expectations were quite high and they definitely smashed them. Vancouver crowds are often quite lame but absolutely everyone was dancing hard. That's it. That's the message. If you were on the fence about going be sure not to bail. If you've never heard of them consider checking them out they’re superb. K bye.
There should be a recycling event sometime soon at a middle school. Anyone know where?
I’m planning a day trip on foot just for fun, and to get out and do some street photography with a couple new lenses I just picked up. My plan is to take light rail to the Seattle ferry terminal and walk on a ferry. What’s a good destination that has things to see or do within walking distance of the ferry, on the other end? I’m open to departing from other ferry terminals too, if there’s a better destination.
