Visiting next week. Is there anything (besides teriyaki bc I'm getting that) that is arguably one of the best dishes in the country? I'm from Los Angeles so we have most world class things. But is there like anything, could be a bakery, burger, egg roll, etc that you would argue is one of the best items in the country or just extraordinary in general? I'm going by myself so most likely can only get 1-2 items at each place so recommending specific items like get the egg role at x or Hawaiian chicken from x would be most helpful! Some I read: Un bien Bakery Nouveau- Double baked croissant Best burger in the city? Have read Family friend Burger OR smash burger from Smash that burger OR Taurus OX burger maybe some others? Best Cookie? Maybe Met Market, AK Pizza, Cardoon, T55, Wayland Mill, Mt Bagel Any other random items you think are great

Lost my purse (light brown leather cross body with mostly white interior lining) around 10:30-11:00am today (sep 20) in the NW corner of Cal Anderson park near the farmer's market vendors. Contains my ID, cards, phone, notebook, and some odds and ends. If you found it or turned it in somewhere, please DM me. Happy to give a reward, thank you.

My partner and I live in the Bay Area and just found out we have to move out of our space by January. We can’t comfortably afford/find a place here in our budget at the moment and we’re looking to move to Seattle. Our max base rent would be $1800. We also have 2 cats. I’ve been researching some apartments on apartments.com but wanted to see if anyone has suggestions for good complexes. I know there’s lots of different communities/areas within Seattle so it kind of depends on your vibe but we just want to get out of where we are first so we can have a little bit of stability. Looking at Capitol Hill a little bit but would honestly just be happy to get a nice 1bed 1bath anywhere (nice) to start out. Please help us out!!
Be wary of dealing with Andrey Odarchuk (FB user andrey.odarchuk.9), who currently uses the business name Elevate Home Solution LLC. He has previously used the business names Phoenix Flooring LLC and Lux Flooring LLC. I hired him to replace carpeting with hardwood flooring and replace the trim and baseboards. The total agreed price was $9,000, and I paid a $4,500 deposit on July 8, 2026. Work was scheduled to begin on August 10, 2026. As of September 20, 2026, I have seen no progress. In response to my follow-ups, he has repeatedly cited emergencies or other issues, said he was obtaining materials or going to the property, or promised the work would be completed “ASAP.” These assurances amount to nothing. I have requested a full refund of my deposit but have not received it. I have reported the matter to both the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. Given his use of multiple business names, I’m concerned he may operate under another name in the future. That’s why I’m including his name and the previous business names.
I saw this street art/ grafitti in Everett while going for a walk yesterday and I love it. I'd love to see more of this artists work if anyone knows anything. Please DM me if you know the artist or have pictures of other things they've done.
Greetings, Seattle. I am bringing this post over from the Jimothy subreddit The amazing u/ghorlectipod , who is the person who named Jimothy, had the wonderful idea to reach out to Common Ground Wildlife, a Seattle nonprofit organization helping humans and animals co-exist. We decided to do an event at the Burke Museum, where one of their specialists will be talking about River Otters, Coyotes, and of course, Raccoons. They will bring an assortment of animal bones, pelts, etc and have them on display. Come on over and ask them your questions! This is a free event! Excited to see you all! -Dallas Flyer by u/ghorlectipod

Hi y’all!! I was wondering if any of y’all would be interested in trading expertises with each other? I asked for tennis lessons on a local Facebook group in trade for music lessons. I’ve been taking tennis lessons for 2 months now in exchange for voice lessons and it’s been going great. I thought I should open up the idea.
