In January I will be moving up to WA state from Southern California. The company I work for is moving their remaining offices to Seattle. My wife and I have been looking at places in the Lynnwood/Everett area and are wondering how those areas are. I don’t want to live in Seattle but still want to be close enough so the commute isn’t too terrible. Don’t have any kids so not really worried about the schools in the area. Also if anyone has any recommendations on other areas too I’m open!

Which gas stations in Redmond/Bellevue/Kirkland offer Octane 93 gas? It is recommended for my car model and I am not able to find any gas station for that.
Is there anywhere around Federal Way or Auburn that has covered outdoor seating? I'm thinking more of a brewery, pub, or bar, not so much a restaurant. Would need to be fully covered in case it's raining, not just shade umbrellas.
Hi everyone, Just curious since we’ve been in the bay area for so long, and we found some cities we love for their resources (well funded libraries, community center), top notch schools, family friendly vibe, walkability/bikeability, swimming and soccer clubs for kids and the really cute neighborhoods. What would you consider the Eastside equivalents or close to cities like: - Palo Alto - Los Altos - Los Gatos
I am waiting for the yearly influx of pumpkin beers on tap and in the grocery stores. I am striking out on both of them here in northern Snohomish county. Any local sightings yet?
Any recommendations for local car detailing in Shoreline or nearby (that is not mobile)?
Hi all! My little family and I are so excited to to be residents of Sammamish soon! We close on a home mid-October, but will need to replace the carpet and paint before moving in. Anyone have recommendations for carpet installers and painters? Looking for high quality work with reasonable prices.
Hello, I'm less interested in activities and mostly want a really good selection of pumpkins. Different colors, shapes, heirloom varieties, interesting gourds, etc. Knutson's photos look promising, but I've also heard people find a good variety at Sterino. Any recommendations/favorites around Puyallup/Tacoma/Sumner for pumpkin variety?
I still haven’t found a good breakfast bagel and I feel unsettled not having a go to place in rotation. I know it’s out there. Perhaps a deli or questionable coffee stand that can make a good everything bagel w sausage, egg & cheese. 🥯 I’m even willing to consider really breakfast sandwiches. On the south end of Auburn, so if you know anything on the outskirts like Sumner, Lake Tapps or Bonney Lake I’m game.
One of my favorite parts of living in West Seattle
