It seems like there’s two impossible things to find in this city- a good tailor and a good dry cleaner. Anyone have any suggestions for this specific use case?I’ve had some downright terrible luck with cleaners in this city and I need someone I can trust with my best suits to gently clean and get a proper press.

Does anyone have any recommendations for hair salon for an affordable women’s haircut? I’m just looking for a trim and to even out some layers, but shocked at how so many haircuts are $80 minimum. Any recommendations for places with a woman’s cut under $50 with reputable service? I already had a bad experience with Evergreen Beauty School, so not looking for that suggestion. Your help is appreciated!

I didn’t get a picture but they were on the smaller skinnier side and almost hit by my car! I stoped at the nearby parking lot but I could not find them. Lmk if any other subreddits exist to cross post on. Nearby Address: 520 3rd Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119

My name is Robert and I have never used Reddit before so this is cool. Sup. Anyways! I built a little something that plans your weekend for you and I would really appreciate if a few strangers try it. I have had the same problem every week. Seattle has a ton going on, but figuring out what I actually want to do takes way more effort than it should. So I built Whennly. You take a short quiz and it plans your Friday, Saturday and Sunday for you. Events, food, places around Seattle, etc. Instead of giving you another giant list to browse, it makes the first decision for you. You can swap anything it gets wrong. I've tested it with people I know, but at this point that's not so useful. I need people who don't know me and have no reason to be nice about it. whennly.com If you try it, I'd especially like to know does the weekend actually feel like you? And is there anything on it you'd really go do? It's free and you don't need an account. Peace and love Seattle Bob

Looking for a hair stylist for medium length curly/wavy hair. I'm a guy but whatever hair stylist works best I'll be happy with! Anywhere in or nearish to Lynnwood is preferred. Thank you!

25 y.o. Looking to make a drastic change, move to PNW, and find a job. (Long story short) I was living abroad after being laid off, trying to figure out what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be, and I was broken up with, so that flipped everything in my life on end. Now I am in a pinch but have always wanted to end up in PNW and thought 'why wait ten years? Why not now?' Well yes, job markets are not fabulous and I've not had luck with online applications (pretty much anywhere) for the past year (with the exception of 1099 work and odd jobs) but I really want to make the leap and know it'll be hard (but I've got a hardcore work ethic). However Seattle Area is expensive, and I don't really know anyone in Washington or Oregon, so I am open to knowing the following: My professional skills range from healthcare to clinical to writing (fiction, copy, non-fiction, human interest pieces), photography/marketing (marketing isn't my favorite), and lots of experience working in emergency/crisis as well as social work. How to network in person for jobs? Where to do this ^ Where is best to live (I know I'll need roommates...maybe like 9), and also if anyone has an idea for jobs? Also, public transit: looking to live somewhere there is access to public transit.

Hey everyone on Saturday the 26th of September I am going to be setting up a table in Cal Anderson Park and will be doing a free clothing exchange. Currently most of the sizes that have been donated are S-L but I will be adding XL-XXL clothes as soon as I wash all my old security clothing that I am not keeping. Like the sign says, please feel free to bring Clean clothes that don't fit or you don't want to exchange; if you don't have anything to exchange that's also fine please take whatever you need. I've been seeing a lot of people saying they can't afford new winter clothes or can't find winter clothes they need and figure maybe we can all help each other out before the weather gets too nasty. Anything that is left over at the end of the day is going to get donated to Homeless Outreach

I’d like to gift someone a spa massage. Just a day to feel good, not physically therapeutic. What places have a really nice atmosphere? North or central Seattle preferably.
