Edit: **ADDED INFORMATION/UPDATE*** Name: Corey Sweeney DOB: 12/08/1990 (35y/o) Height: 5’11 Weight: 170lbs Eyes: brown Hair: black/dark brown Wearing: burgundy hat with a black bass logo for nv and the backpack photoed below. Last seen: white buffalo saloon on evergreen around 12p on 09.12.26 I writes this post with a heavy update and a sense of urgency for community help. Corey has been pinged at a few spots near forest park, and has been spotted by others in that area, as well as, around pigeon creek/forgotten trail near providence (provided screenshot I received below of the area he may have been seen). Corey’s location is no longer active. There is now no way for me to even try to find him, leaving myself and his mother totally reliant on YOU, the community to help bring him home. PD has been as helpful as they can and I’ve been driving the area as I can. I have his mom with me now to help with me with searching, I need anyone who sees him to post a time and location if you see him. Try to snap a picture if you can! I will drive to him! Please contact PD and let them know as well so they can try to make contact. He’s a great man, who deserves help. He has a wife and a cat who love him. Family and friends who love him. ***END ADDED INFORMATION/UPDATE***

Yesterday I asked what West Seattle’s big-dog owners actually wanted, and you gave me a lot to think about. The same things kept coming up: someone confident with large, powerful dogs, real exercise instead of a quick loop around the block, consistent care, and a boarding option that doesn’t feel like a kennel or a giant pack. I heard you. I’ve decided to move forward with Driftwood’s Retreat , and I’m ready to start with a small number of dogs here in West Seattle. The focus is exactly what you asked for: specialized walking, confident handling, real exercise, private adventures, drop-ins, and boarding. If you were one of the people who commented or messaged yesterday and asked me to keep you posted, this is me keeping my word. Thank you for helping me shape it.

Hey folks, I've got a move coming up in about a month. I'm not going far, not even 3 miles across town, but I've got some furniture and heavy stuff that I wouldn't be able to move myself and I want to hire movers. I figure I might as well support local businesses while I'm at it, so does anyone have suggestions for moving services in Lakewood?

Hi Bellevue — Theatre33 here. We thought we’d introduce ourselves to anyone who may not know there’s an independent nonprofit theatre tucked away in the BelRed Arts District. This October we’re producing Jeffrey Hatcher’s A Picasso , a two-person play set in Nazi-occupied Paris. Pablo Picasso is summoned to authenticate three paintings attributed to him. What sounds like a simple task becomes a tense encounter between Picasso and a German cultural attaché, with questions about art, power, truth, and survival at the center of it. It’s an intimate play — two actors, one room, one increasingly complicated conversation — and we thought it might appeal to Bellevue folks interested in theatre, art, history, or simply discovering something local they haven’t tried before. A Picasso runs October 16–25 at Theatre33 in Bellevue. We’re happy to answer any questions about the play or Theatre33 here. And if you’ve been to Theatre33 before, we’d love to hear from you.

Hello all! My name is Eli (24M) I just moved here about a month and a half ago from Colorado, and am liking it so far. My only issue is I don’t know anyone lmao. Looking for people to go on hikes with, do art with, and maybe go thrifting! I also really enjoy portrait photography and collecting physical media. I enjoy getting ice cream and eating it too (see photo #2 for details) I’d love to get to know any of you or possibly get some info on where I can find friends at. Thank you!

Only four more chances to experience our interactive show where you determine how the story unfolds. We sold out 12 shows, extended our run twice, and got a great write up from the Seattle times. This is the final extension we'll be closing at the end of Sept, so grab your tickets while you can https://www.curiouslevity.com/allinseattle

My brother got hit by a car while crossing the street a few months back and he's still dealing with memory problems and bad headaches, so we're trying to figure out our next move. He's a delivery driver and hasn't been able to go back to work full time, and the medical bills are piling up fast. We talked to one lawyer already but honestly the whole thing felt rushed and we didn't really get clear answers about what to expect. I've been reading through a bunch of websites but everyone just says they're the best, which doesn't help much when you're trying to pick someone you can trust. Anyone here actually gone through this in Seattle and can share who you worked with or what questions I should be asking before we sign anything?

My dad got into a bad car accident last month and the other driver ran a red light. He hit his head pretty hard and the doctors are saying it's a traumatic brain injury, so now we're trying to figure out the legal side of things while also dealing with his recovery. He's still having memory problems and gets tired really easily, so most of the calls and paperwork have fallen on me. I want someone who actually has experience with brain injury cases specifically. His medical bills are already piling up and I want to make sure we're not missing anything important with insurance deadlines. I looked through a few law firm websites but honestly they all say the same stuff about being the best. Has anyone in the Seattle area dealt with something similar?
