Went to visit my brother in 2013 where we witnessed a relationship unfold in front of our family. The couple sitting next to us in full Seahawks gear got into a very silent and tame argument that led up to the guy throwing 2 full glasses of water in her face (Just the water! No glass) and she walked off away apologizing profusely. He sat there for a couple minutes with his hands in his face then left before the appetizer came which led to your server giving them to us on the house. They were the absolute best tenders I’ve ever had. I’ve never seen buffalo inside the tender before. Also, he left his Seattle Seahawks gloves on the table. We gave them to the waitress to hold on in case they came back. Does anyone know of a plus that sells tenders like this? I think the restaurant was in Bellevue/Belleview.

Hi, I recently moved to Seattle and am looking for an animal, board-certified doctor to establish as my primary care provider. I don't have gender preference. When I mean "animal doctor" I don't mean vet, I mean animal that treats people. Had terrible experiences with human doctors for many years and won't do that again. I heard that Seattle is very progressive and open minded in things like this so was hoping that my special care needs can be met. Must be in Kaiser network. Please let me know if anybody has recommendations! Thanks in advance!

Curious to hear from people in this sub, what's your job, and what makes it feel worthwhile to you? Could be the work itself, the people, the mission, the pay, the flexibility... whatever it is for you. Not looking for "just work to live" answers necessarily (though those are valid too), more interested in hearing from people who genuinely feel good about what they do day to day. Trying to get a sense of what's out there in Seattle beyond the obvious tech/Amazon/Microsoft answers.

My heart goes out to all of you who have been laid off, have layoff anxiety, or struggle with mental health. Your professional experiences, personal strengths, and dreams of a better life are not lost. Everywhere I go, I feel that so many here are lonely. But I'm also seeing many new communities and connections forming. Despite, AI, politics, and existential crisis, the future is bright for those who fight for it. Although this city has a bucket list of problems to fix, I see that Seattle is resilient, intelligent, empathetic, & is a global village of people who are pioneering and discussing the future. Keep your head up Seattle. Better days are coming.

So this is a bit of a stretch, I don't know if I'll be able to get my answer. There used to be a little shop ( if memory serves me correctly just north of the university district) that sold tumbled rocks and minerals. But it wasn't a regular shop, instead the whole floor was covered in tumbled stones and you had an allotted period of time to pick through the stones and take what you wanted. I think they did birthday parties. Does anybody remember this shop and what it was called? I went there as a kid in the early 2010s. Thank you so much!

I’ve been looking at alternatives to regular dog daycare and like the idea of my dog spending the day on a farm/private acreage, running around outdoors instead of being at a daycare in the city. I found a few places outside Seattle, but none seem to offer pickup from my part of Seattle. Driving out and back twice obviously makes it difficult. Has anyone found a place that does pickup/drop-off in Seattle? Or do people actually drive their dogs out to these places? Also curious about experiences with farm/outdoor daycare in general. Did your dog like it? Anything you’d worry about compared with regular daycare? Would love recommendations if anyone has them
